SYNOPSIS of Journal

Throughout this journal, you'll find pictures I have taken all around the world, from London to Costa Rica.  Travel has always been a big factor for my family and I.  We always went on a family trip during christmas break from the day I can remember.  My brother is part of this collage because he used to work for Travelocity, which helped us afford some of those trips.  He would get us discounts on hotels which would make the experience even better.  What these pictures symbolize is happiness. I got to put two things I love to do together, photography is one of my favorite hobbies, and travel is another.  Each one of these photos was taken by me, and if they were edited, I did that as well. The first three photos really had meaning to them becasue I saw a lot of struggle there in Costa Rica, and my family and I really got to experience what they go through every day, it really is a second/third world country.  I think that this journal project really allowed to me to expand my horizon as someone who can show what they like to do through photography.  Capturing a moment of where you have been or who you have been with allows memories to be endless.  My last photo of my parents and I was on the plane to London, without them, this journey around the world over my life span would never have happened.
