Bar Code Art

I did the Nike Sign, becuase in today's athletic world, they are the most profitable company, and I learned they raise their prices almost 2-3 times per year, so having their name on this barcode was significant of their amazing but greedy business.

I made the barcode the design of the shoe and where usual things would go I would show what describes them now, such as overpriced, buy me now, and money signs for greed.

World Record Idea

Like in class, I thought of the idea of the "Worlds Largest Cookie".  So i grabbed two images from Google, then photoshopped and scaled the cookie to be "on top of the world".  It was pretty difficult to scale it to the way I wanted but I think it came out pretty cool.  This is my vision as the worlds largest cookie.

Point of View Project
Peter and Andrea
"Dini's"
We spoke to the workers at Pandini's and they let us capture a photo from the other side of the glass.  They let us learn what it was like as a worker rather than a student or customer.  They said it was tough getting everything right all the time with so many orders but they try their best.  The worker said they get huge crowds at times but in the end it all works out.  It was cool seeing the other side of the glass when it came to a worker at U Tampa.  This perspective let us kind of capture a day in the life of a pandini's worker, minus all of the stress.

This was a power team, we worked hard and well together, individually contributed our ideas torwards this project for it to be the best.  Everyone pulled their weight for the photos, cropping, ideas, etc.

Process
We came across the idea of religion, we thought because it was in our everyday lives, that we would focus on two specific religions.  These two religions collide in this world, so we wanted to show that people are just people in the world, and peace is there regardless of what our group members believed in.
Synopsis
Each photo has a different meaning and representation of how we view the world in religion.  Our photos consist of the cross, which is a worldwide symbol for catholicism, with hands praying cropped on the photo, representing prayer and religion.  The other photos are through the idea of a hijab, which is muslim which represents the muslim religion.  We did it black and white to show that religion isn't something that changes a person, no color needed.  That is a combo of 3 photos.  The final photo is a black and white photo of the chapel, representing the netruel views of religion, there is no specific faith that goes into that place.  It then shows life and death by the ghost like figure, with the creepy organ player in the back playing obvious sound.
